Permit Reissuance Washington State Fire Training Academy

Ecology is accepting comments on the proposed reissuance of National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) water quality discharge permit for the Washington State Fire Training Academy, in North Bend.


Wastewater discharges to waters of the state must meet requirements of the Washington State Water Pollution Control Act and applicable regulations. Following evaluation of the application and other available information, a draft permit has been developed which would allow the discharge of treated wastewater to an unnamed creek tributary to the South Fork Snoqualmie River and to groundwater by means of infiltration through stormwater ponds.
