Hanford Site Air Operating Permit Renewal 4

Ecology is holding a 30-day public comment period on the proposed Renewal 4 of the Air Operating Permit (AOP) for the Hanford Site, No. 00-05-006, addressing applicable requirements for Title V of the federal Clean Air Act. The Hanford Site is in southeastern Washington and formerly produced plutonium for the nation’s defense program. Today, waste management and environmental cleanup are the primary missions at Hanford. The permittee is the U.S. Department of Energy.


This draft Renewal 4 incorporates all changes in applicable requirements for the Hanford Site since issuance of Renewal 3.
